- When I first started this in March 1999, it was always my intention to do this for exactly 10 years if I could. As ABBA only existed as a group for that length, I thought it was a fitting time to stop. Surprise, surprise - it has gone amazingly fast - so I am in awe in what they achieved in just one decade. Also when I started, there was virtually no sites devoted to ABBA, and very few pictures, few videos of them - again, what a difference the past decade has made. You Tube, wiki, blogs, bit torrents, virtual communities, - the list goes on. Today, most of it is a few button clicks away. The ABBA Community is an amazing community, devoted like no others. ABBA have become popular over and over, and their music is still being listened to and enjoyed by new and old fans alike. Thank you for such devotion.

- It seems like I am forever apologising. Sorry but due to family circumstances, I am only doing cosmetic changes to the site. My father was diagnosed with cancer at Christmas, and well, to say the least for the family, the past 6 months have been a shock ... thank you for being so understanding and appreciate the support I receive from fellow ABBA friends.

- Why has there been long delays in updates? I have been scanning all my LP's and 45's for the site - it takes a lot of effort and time. Still only half way. Soon I will add some of the duplicate LP's etc I have onto the site. Hope there are still some vinyl lovers still out there.

- For the 4th time since beginning of this site in 1999, it is having to be rebuilt from the beginning. The Server it was on was considered too old. But no warnings, just locked me out. It will take a while to rebuild I am sorry. So, please let fans know of the new address. In the time it was locked out, I have been uploading all the video clips and doing more scans of my collection.

- My apologies. Ended up having to buy a new scanner, and ftp software. Lost all access to ftp server for updating. Finally, all working again. Vista is good, but so many issues with hardware and software. I have also been to Taiwan ... so this months Free CD Competition will be for CD's from there. Watch this space!

- Had to reformat my PC, so last few weeks has been rebuilding (tried Windows Vista - it's gooood, but wouldn't allow Nortons AV or Zone Alarm, so back to XP). I have currently lost the ability to create clips, and also had lost access to web server so could do no updates. November will be catch up time as I correct this. - 2006 has not been a good year to date. Last update was on 07/01. Lost PC HDD and all ABBA contents on 08/01. Personally took ill on 09/01, and two operations, three trips to Emergency later - still not at work. Recovered most off the HDD on 01/02. Updates will therefore be slow for a while.

I was 'supposed' to have a 5Gb limit as a result of deleting the site back in November, but they never did this, so got locked out after hitting 2Gb again. - I have tried finding a new Server, but no luck to date. So this is currently sitting on my own harddrive. There will be bandwidth and access limitations till I find another Server that allows 2Gb sites. Also expect lots of missing pix, and you will sometimes get a password login screen. tick the box that says 'remember this password' and do 'ok'. Keep the username and password blank. I am trying MS IIS to supply you access to this site, so a few teething problems.

The reason for this is that the public may confuse those sites with official ABBA sites.
